As part of the strengthening of bilateral trade relations, the establishment of direct flights between Pakistan and Bangladesh was declared by the Deputy High Commissioner of Bangladesh, SM Mahbub Alam. The new route is going to facilitate trade and economic cooperation between the two nations.
In this effort, the Hyderabad Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industries plans to hold an exhibition together with their Bangladeshi counterpart to develop networking between importers and exporters of both countries.

Speaking to the media, Muhammad Saleem Memon, the president of the Hyderabad Chamber, invited Bangladeshi traders to come to Pakistan and take part in different trade activities. He also stressed how important it is for Pakistani traders to go to Bangladesh to attend such exhibitions and vice versa, which can help strengthen business relations between the two countries. Memon said that, in order for the trade operations to be smooth, there is a need to look into resolving customs clearance issues in Dhaka for exporters from Pakistan.
In light of this, Deputy High Commissioner, SM Mahbub Alam also invited the Pakistani business community to attend a trade exhibition held in Dhaka in January. This further augments trade relations and opportunities for new collaboration between the two countries.
