Mr. Donald Blome, the U.S. Ambassador to Pakistan, paid a farewell call to Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar as he reported during their meeting. Senator Dar wished Ambassador Blome to complete his tenure successfully in Pakistan and also appreciated all his endeavors for strengthening the Pakistan-US relation.
The Deputy Prime Minister described a very positive improvement in the bilateral relations between Pakistan and the United States and emphasized the need for continued engagement. He reaffirmed the commitment of the Government of Pakistan to keeping a constructive and positive dialogue with the new U.S. Administration. Efforts of Ambassador Blome to bring about mutual understanding and cooperation between the two countries were acknowledged by Senator Dar.

In his remarks, Ambassador Blome thanked Senator Dar for all the support and cooperation rendered to him during his stay in Pakistan, saying that he was pleased with the progress made in numerous areas of bilateral cooperation and reiterated the commitment of the United States to enhancing the partnership with Pakistan within these areas.
The meeting ended on a positive note from both sides reaffirming their commitments to working together for the mutual benefit of both countries. The farewell call signified the close and long-lasting relationships between Pakistan and the United States based on a shared vision for a prosperous and stable future.
