On an emergency landing, a passenger plane en route from Norway to the Netherlands went off the track. The incident on Sunday was the third in 24 hours, one of which took place in South Korea and left 179 people “presumed” dead.
The plane, a Boeing 737-800 on “Flight #KL1204″, veered off the right side of runway 18 after arriving at the Oslo Torp Sandefjord Airport. The flight was diverted shortly after departure from Oslo Airport (OSL),” said an official statement from Royal Dutch Airlines posted on X.

It has also been said that pilots have diverted the plane to Sandefjord Torp Airport, around 110 km from Oslo, for an emergency landing, reports the news portal 7 am.
However, according to media reports, the plane landed safely and skidded off the runway shortly after landing, coming to rest in a grassy area beside it owing to some malfunction in its hydraulic system.
As the media outlet said, “176 passengers and six crew members were not harmed,” while investigations have been opened into the incident.
Earlier, an Air Canada flight was forced to make an emergency landing at Halifax Stanfield International Airport after having failed landing gear at night on Saturday.
