A resident of Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, named Badal Babu, aged 30, got into trouble with the law as he crossed the border illegally to meet his Facebook romance friend in Pakistan. As reported by Indian media, Badal was nabbed by Pakistani security forces five days ago.
He found himself under the Foreign Act Sections 13 and 14 for not having travel documents, and now brought to the court; the court placed him in with a 14-day judicial custody. His next hearing is scheduled for January 10.
