Faysal Bank Limited (FBL), one of the major Islamic banks in Pakistan, organized a ‘Dining in the Dark’ event recently to grow compassion and awareness toward the lives of permanently blind individuals. In association with Khaas Foodz, this initiative aimed to let banking professionals experience firsthand the challenges faced by disabled people.
According to Mr. Monis Mirza, Head of Human Resources, Faysal Bank Limited, “On the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, here at Faysal Bank, we reaffirm our commitment to an inclusive workplace where the talent of each individual is acknowledged and celebrated. Real progress is in empowering diverse talents, breaking barriers, and creating opportunities for everyone to thrive. The ‘Dining in the Dark’ experience is towards increasing awareness and understanding for a more inclusive future.”
He emphasized that FBL would continue focusing on implementing more such initiatives that promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and develop a supportive environment for all individuals to realize their full potential.
