Some committee members are struggling to participate because of legal issues or being abroad, explained Asad Qaiser. Both sides shared optimism concerning continued dialogue. The opposition has presented an initial sketch of its demands, while a comprehensive charter will be laid before the next meeting, scheduled for January 2.
The meeting also had a prayer for the martyrs who breathed their last in the war against terrorism, reiterating the commitment against terrorism in the country. The committee members appreciated the Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq for his efforts on the hearing.
