The Ministry of Religious Affairs has introduced the Hajj Labour Quota and invites nominations from public and private organizations for low-income employees to perform the pilgrimage.
As part of Hajj Policy 2025, 300 seats are allocated for the Labour Quota. Employees in grades 1-9 including labourers, industrial workers, and miners can avail this opportunity.

All expenses of Hajj for beneficiaries of Labour Quota would be borne by the respective organizations under corporate social responsibility initiatives said the ministry spokesperson.
Only organizations which register themselves with EOBI or Workers Welfare Fund can apply for quota. Applications must reach the Workers Welfare Fund by January 15.
For nominee from institutions under other departments or organizations, the nomination must be routed through their concerned ministries to the Ministry of Religious Affairs. In case several applicants exceeds the available quota, a ballot will be held for the allocation of 300 seats.
