Thanks to a new project initiated by Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori, now IT students within Sindh will learn online lessons by Harvard and University of Chicago professor Randall Kroszner, as reported by ARY News.
The initiative is there to bring high-quality education for prospective IT professionals in this part of the country. Professor Kroszner will share his online lessons with students twice weekly, on developing their technical skills.

Educational Advancements
The meeting with Professor Kroszner was purposely organized for a discussion with Governor Tessori regarding educational advancements and other salient matters. He also took a tour of the IT marquee and witnessed the Governor’s initiatives like the “Umeed ki Ghanti” (Bell of Hope) and a distribution ration drive, which he commended for trying to assist the disadvantaged communities, and showed much eagerness in teaching the locals.
Google Certification Grants
In the previous session, Governor Tessori had also introduced a grant for a fee reduction to IT students doing Google certifications. This agreement was reached between the Google people and the governor following meetings in Islamabad to accord certification to students as super passers in their qualifying examinations.
