Demonstrating a cheeky sense of humor, Honor decided to rip into Samsung on social media after the launch of the latter’s Galaxy S25 Series. Samsung’s newest flagship phone line – the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra – was launched at a flamboyant Unpacked event, giving Honor a chance to seize the day with the cheeky post on its social media account highlighting several accessories with a direct implication that they were necessary for Samsung to see its year come to the top.
Honor was not finished there: the clip featured a giant gift box that had the sign “Gift for Sam” written on it, from which several accessories, including a tripod stick and light ring, were revealed along with the message, “May these make it your best year yet. Or just use an HONOR Magic 7 Pro.” The entire prank by Honor was done on the streets of London.

The message was loud and clear: Honor implied that the Magic 7 Pro, with its high-quality camera features and AI capabilities, can provide users a better experience so that they do not have to carry loads and loads of accessories. Honor sounded like a better choice for photography lovers with a focus on the periscope lens and other capabilities of the Magic 7 Pro.
Meanwhile, Samsung has been consistently driving its brand as a key player in the smartphone market. The Galaxy S25 series highlights Samsung’s legacy of innovation and quality. The sassy exchanges between rival companies are what make the tech scene so riveting to consumers.
Are the Samsung fans coming back at Honor for its trolling, or are they just enjoying the show? Guess we will find out in due course.
