Huawei has finally revealed its high-end Mate 70 series, which includes Mate 70 Pro+ and Mate 70 RS. They are designed specifically to bring components from upgraded materials, larger batteries, and additional RAM into the Mate 70 Pro, making them a stand-out option for those who want premium devices in China. These models provide an upgrade across all categories for extra durability, reliability, performance, and, above all, design.
The Mate 70 RS features dual-layer OLED technology and basalt-tempered Kunlun Glass for additional screen protection to keep the display safe. Otherwise, both models have a 6.9-inch LTPO OLED display that refreshes at 120Hz. Peak brightness levels stand at 3,500 nits for the Mate 70 RS and 2,500 nits for the Pro+.

The rear panel of this Mate 70 Pro+ is woven with gold thread and brocade fiber to withstand shocks while assuring a scintillating look. The frame incorporates high-brightness titanium alloy, guaranteeing robust, scratch- and drop-resistant life. Water and dust are well-withstood by it as IP69. Such a model is available in various color choices, including Ink Black, Feather White, Gold, Silver Brocade, and Flying Blue, while the Mate 70 RS colors are Red, White, and Black.
Both flagships are probably powered by Huawei’s Kirin 9020, while it is not impossible that they were provided with plenty of 16GB RAM for great multitasking efficacy. These run on the latest HarmonyOS 4.3. The two smart devices include Baidu Satellite Connectivity for better navigation and a more accurate location. The good news is that Ark Engine is also attached to boost the entire system’s performance.
The optics on both the devices are as high-end as the term defines: a main 50MP variable aperture sensor, 40MP ultrawide, and a 48MP telephoto lens with 4x optical zoom. Huawei’s RYYB sensor technology offers superior low-light capability and better colors. Moreover, expect a 13MP front-facing camera for consumer-perfect selfies.
