The non-bailable arrest warrants issued against Ali Amin Gandapur, Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, in the audio leak case, have been upheld by Islamabad District and Sessions Court. During the hearing that was presided over by Additional Sessions Judge Abdul Ghafoor Kakar, an application for cancellation of the warrants was taken up. Neither Ali Amin Gandapur nor co-accused Asad Farooq, however, appeared before the court.

The proceedings were conducted through their counsel, Raja Zahoor-ul-Hassan. The court has sustained the non-bailable arrest warrants against both Gandapur and Farooq and adjourned the hearing until January 9.
The audio leak case against Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur was registered at Golra Police Station Islamabad.
