Barring the media outside the jail, Barrister Gohar said, after meeting PTI founder Imran Khan in Adiala Jail, that the PTI chairman was apprised about negotiations going ahead.
Khan insisted that the process must be wrapped up in a timely manner.
But above all, the PTI chairman said, quick progress should be made as the first meeting of the negotiation committees was informal and preliminary, and some members were absent.

Barrister Gohar stated that the next round of discussions would involve the formal presentation of demands by the PTI committee to government representatives.
He added that efforts are being made for the PTI negotiation committee to hold another meeting with the party chairman before the next session.
Gohar is hopeful that the discussion would ultimately lead to a better understanding between them.
