US President Joe Biden is keenly following the very interesting happenings in Syria where anti-regime forces have reportedly entered the national capital: Damascus. The White House has said late Saturday that Biden and his senior officials were in constant touch with regional partners, according to National Security Council spokesperson Sean Savett, on X.
In the early hours of Sunday when fleeing from liberation by the Assad regime; anti-regime forces have made incursions to the capital Damascus. While demonstrating against the regime, critical regime forces have pulled out of critical locations like the Defense Ministry, Interior Ministry, and such as the airport, and, now, against the backdrop of protesters entering these important areas, what is left for the regime is to lose most of its control over the capital.

In a significant development, prisons in Sednaya Prison has been opened in Damascus for inmates who walked into the notorious regime associated with torturing techniques. By November, opposition forces had gained control of much of the downtown area of Aleppo and had extended dominance throughout Idlib province. On Thursday, heavy fighting ensued, and forces took over the center of Hama city from regime troops.
