The recent one hundred by Kamran Ghulam in the third ODI against Zimbabwe has been described as a lion’s share effort in striving to conquer the mountains in life.
Kamran held a sneak peek at his journey during a press conference post-match in Bulawayo, which saw Pakistan victorious in both the match and the series. The player said his debut one-day century against England is the one that boosted his confidence, and he thinks that the latest century has further boosted his self-belief. “My job is just to perform. Constant hard work is my key, and I believe the rewards follow,” he said.
-It was actually Kamran’s previous preparation in this country, belonging to a tour with the Pakistan Shaheens, that contributed to the cricketer’s performance at this ground. “That experience helped me to adjust and perform well in this series,” he noted.

He has also thanked the captain of Pakistan, Mohammad Rizwan, who greatly influenced his innings on a pitch that was tough to bat in. “Rizwan made things easy for me in the middle. His encouragement kept me going,” said Kamran.
Kamran said he had a very good series; the previous win against Australia had bolstered the entire team’s confidence, and there was less pressure in the Zimbabwe series. “I was not under pressure due to the belief we gained from the Australia win,” he remarked.
Kamran would look forward very well to what lies ahead-the challenge of a series against South Africa and the ICC Champions Trophy. “Preparing for the South Africa series and the Champions Trophy. Will perform well and contribute to the team’s success if given a chance,” he said.
