The KP Govt has introduced such programs through which various sectors will be directly related to job creation in addition to skill development and infrastructural development in the province.
Naeen Sikho, a newly initiated youth employment and skill development program, gets an allocation of Rs. 11.5 billion funds to provide fee-free training for 60,000 youngsters. It also has 25,000 supplementary internship opportunities. In addition, grants up to Rs 80,000 will be given to 42,000 individuals in merged areas and rural areas. According to data, 37,000 students have graduated from government technical institutions, and 36,000 students are from private technical institutions. In the First Phase, 19,000 people, both male and female, will take part. So far, 806 people have undergone training, and 312 applications have been registered for the award.

The provincial government also announced that it would make available interest-free loans up to Rs 1.5 million to construct or remodel houses under the scheme “Ehsaas Apna Ghar”. Under this scheme, launched by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Housing Department and the Bank of Khyber, affordable housing is designed for low-income households with an estimated Rs 4 billion cost and a repayment period of seven years.
As part of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Human Capital Investment Program (KP-HCIP), the provincial health department proposes to solarize 195 health facilities in four districts of the province-Peshawar, Nowshera, Swabi, and Haripur. The project will comprise the establishment of 151 basic health units (BHUs), 25 rural health centres, 13 Category D, and six Category C hospitals with the Rs 23 billion outlay.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has in fact experienced a most remarkable boost in tax revenues. Provincial Finance Advisor Muzzammil Aslam said that the tax collection indigo for November was at 51% growth. This meant that the revenue had risen from Rs 2,908 million in November last year to Rs 4,412 million this year.
