The agreement stands for the mutual cooperation of the parties, the government, and the local administration. Under the agreement, both parties will dismantle private bunkers and confiscate weapons. The government also undertook to open the way to Kurram once peace had been established.
For the safeguarding of routes to Kurram, a special force of 399 members will be formed. Such a force will ensure the security of the region. The final announcement regarding the agreement would be made at the Governor House, Peshawar.
Until February 1, both parties have to dismantle their bunkers and hand over their arms. The administration shall supervise this. The roads to Kurram will be closed until peace is firmly established, but the government maintains a helicopter service for essential supplies.
