According to the announcement published by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, today is the last date for submitting a Hajj application under the government scheme. For that, an installment-based collection of dues has given rise to a surge in Hajj applications this year.
The ministry has reminded overseas Pakistanis to make sure they send their sponsorships today to include themselves. As of yesterday, more than 54,000 applications have been received under the Government Hajj Scheme, and it is expected that the same number will increase even further by midnight.
