LESCO Recovers Rs. 3.81 Billion from Chronic Defaulters

LESCO has recovered about Rs. 3.81 billion from a total of 128,395 chronic defaulters spread across several districts, including Lahore, Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib, Kasur, and Okara.

As told by a spokesperson of Lesco, disbursements in the Northern Circle totaled Rs. 568 million from 17,454 defaulters and Rs. 753 million was from 16,158 defaulters in the Eastern Circle. The Central Circle concluded with recoveries of Rs. 615 million from 15,578 defaulters.

From the 8750 defaulters in the Southern Circle, 263 million rupees were secured, while 298 million rupees were secured from the 11933 defaulters in the Nankana Sahib Circle. The contribution from 15,913 defaulters in the Sheikhupura Circle totaled Rs. 573 million, while Rs. 231 million was recovered from 19,864 defaulters in the Okara Circle. The Kasur Circle rounded off with Rs. 508 million recovered from 22,745 defaulters.”

Lahore Electric Supply Company has recovered this amount from about 128,395 chronic defaulters located in different districts – Lahore, Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib, Kasur, and Okara.

According to a Lesco spokesperson, the Northern Circle managed to recover about Rs 568 million from 17,454 defaulters, while recoveries from 16,158 defaulters in the Eastern Circle reached Rs 753 million. The Central Circle reported recoveries worth Rs 615 million from 15,578 defaulters.

Elsewhere, there have been recoveries of Rs 263 million from 8,750 defaulters in the Southern Circle and Rs 298 million from 11,933 defaulters under the Nankana Sahib Circle. Furthermore, the contribution of the Sheikhupura Circle made within the span of this financial year was Rs 573 million, extracted from 15,913 defaulters. Rs 231 million has been recovered from Okara Circle, where 19,864 defaulters were accounted for. Finally, the Kasur Circle took Rs 508 million from 22,745 defaulters.
