Ministry of Finance Celebrates Christmas with Christian Staff

A special cake-cutting ceremony was organized by the Ministry of Finance on Monday, marking the Christmas celebration with the Christian employees of the Finance Division. It was attended by the Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, and senior officials of the Ministry.

The ceremony was performed to include prayers for peace, security, and solidarity in the country. Senator Aurangzeb conveyed sincere Christmas greetings to the Christian staff, mentioning their contributions and reaffirming the government’s belief in the inclusion of all nationals for equality.

December 25 is celebrated across the world by the community of Christians as “Christmas,” marked by different traditions such as decorating the Christmas tree, exchanging gifts, singing carols, and eating as family and friends. In other events, the Pakistan Embassy in the UAE also organized and hosted the celebrations of this global holiday. The Chinese Embassy even released an advisory in light of a car-ramming incident in Germany, which highlighted a few of the many occasions during this vacation.

Events like these demonstrate how all celebrations exist within the framework of humanity and solidarity in any community. Such events facilitate the promotion of individual growth and the meaning of the collective experience.
