Additional Attorney General (AAG) Amir Rehman apprised the court that the governments of Pakistan and Kenya would sign the MLA tomorrow. Besides, he noted, he had not yet submitted the report; in quick response, the court directed him to do so before adjourning the hearing.
Arshad Sharif was shot in the head by police on October 23, 2022, when he was traveling along the Magadi Highway in Nairobi, Kenya. The MLA agreement will facilitate a joint investigation and exchange of evidence between the two countries to achieve justice in this case.
