The Ministry of Climate Change (MOCC) has agreed upon the collaboration with the Aga Khan Foundation-Pakistan in a bid to revolutionize livelihood security as well as the sustainable socio-economic development of rural and coastal regions within Pakistan.
As such, a Letter of Understanding was signed in Islamabad today.

The signing ceremony was witnessed by the Prime Minister’s Coordinator on Climate Change Romina Khurshid Alam.
Such partnerships would massively add to the government’s efforts of inclusion in socio-economic development and resilience to climate change in Pakistan, she said.
The cooperation stipulated in the Letter of Understanding would take place in certain coastal areas of Sindh, as well as the rural parts of Gilgit-Baltistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
