A negligence case has been filed in court by a local lawyer against Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi about the incident of the loss of 75 Pakistanis via a boat accident in Greece.

The Additional Sessions Judge (Court-II) Sukkur has issued a summons to the three ministers to appear before the court on 15 January.
The court directed the Speaker of the National Assembly to ensure the presence of the officials.
The petition states that due to government negligence, lives have been lost as most unemployed Pakistanis find no other means except to go abroad illegally. The petitioner is seeking a case against these officials at the Rohri police station for not being able to prevent such a tragedy.
