Pakistan’s ambassador to Niger, Ahmed Ali Sirohey, has been awarded the highest civilian award by the government of Niger. The award ceremony was held on Monday at Niger’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Dr. Sirohey was conferred with the title “Commander of the Order of Merit”.
The award was presented by Niger’s Minister of Justice and Human Rights on behalf of the Minister of Foreign Affairs at the ceremony where he was honored. It was awarded in recognition of the exceptional efforts made by Dr Sirohey to strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries.
