Remittances sent by overseas Pakistanis surged by 29% to $2.915 billion in November 2024, compared to $2.259 billion in the same month last fiscal year (FY24). This marks the ninth consecutive month where remittances have hovered near or above the $3 billion mark.

Month-on-Month Comparison:
However, there was a 5% decline in remittances from October 2024’s $3.005 billion to November 2024’s $2.915 billion.
Year-to-Date Performance:
In the first five months of FY25 (5MFY25), remittances rose by 34% to $14.766 billion compared to $11.053 billion in 5MFY24.
