Pakistani Navy has announced that it will host the 9th Aman Multinational Naval Exercises, slated for February 7-11. The inaugural Aman Dialogue is expected to be attended by 120 delegations to discuss various maritime security threats, as per ISPR.
This year’s event will include the Aman Dialogue, which sets a platform for interaction between chiefs of naval forces, coast guards, and senior leadership on regional maritime security and joint strategies. It is expected that the exercise will see participation from 60 countries, including ships, aircraft, special forces, and marines.

Both harbor and sea phases will be held with agenda items such as seminars, operational discussions, and pre-sail planning during the harbor phase. Tactical maneuvering and maritime security exercises, search-and-rescue operations, gunnery firings, and air defense exercises will be conducted during the sea phase.
It will also feature the international fleet review with the participation of national dignitaries and foreign dignitaries. ISPR is known to call it a landmark and an eminent military activity with the participation of more than 4,000 personnel. The opening ceremony will take place at the Pakistan Navy Dockyard, where Pak Marines and Special Services Group (Navy) will also display counter-terrorism skills.
The motto of the Aman series, “Together for Peace,” as well as this year’s theme, “Secure Seas; Prosperous Future,” exemplifying the relevance of maritime security in global prosperity.
