Pakistan and India have come to an arrangement on a hybrid model for the coming ICC events in which matches hosted between the two countries for the 2024-2027 cycle will be played at a neutral venue. Thus, the coming Men’s Champions Trophy packaged for 2025 said to be co-hosted by Pakistan is likely to see India play all its matches on a neutral venue.

This will go for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 to be hosted by India and the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 hosted by India and Sri Lanka.
It was also declared that the PCB has received the right to host the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, 2028, and this will also apply to arrangements for a neutral venue.
