With a fast and efficient operation, the Pakistan Maritime Security Agency-PMSA successfully rescued twelve crew members from an Indian cargo ship that was sinking.
An urgent email communication was received by the Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre (MRCC), Pakistan, from MRCC, Mumbai, around 10:20: a.m. to coordinate rescue operations for locating survivors from the distressed vessel.

In respect to this request, the PMSA quickly swung into action, saving all twelve crew members from aboard the Indian ship. The operation thus signifies PMSA’s commitment to performing its international search and rescue (SAR) obligations, showing the need for regional collaboration.
