Pakistan-Russia share optimism to build better bilateral connectivity, which is seen to be beneficial to both nations and the entire region. The Federal Minister for Energy Sardar Awais Ahmed Khan Leghari is in Moscow, where he met with Roman Starovoyt, Minister for Transport of the Russian Federation, co-chairing the 9th session of the Pakistan-Russia Intergovernmental Commission (IGC).

During the session, the two ministers discussed the ongoing cooperation between the countries in respect of all transport sectors, from road and rail to air transport projects. Minister Leghari congratulated Russia for the increasingly deepening cooperation, inviting his counterpart to visit Pakistan. The two pledged to continue efforts to enhance ties and maintain regular contacts for achieving mutual objectives.
This is a great milestone towards strengthening bilateral relations and creating regional integration.
