The Government of Pakistan has directed foreign nationals not to participate in political activities within the state. The terminus of this report followed some of the foreigners taking part in political protests recently. Such partaking, according to the Foreign Office (FO), is labeled as “illegal.”
Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, during her weekly briefing in Islamabad, reported how some Afghan nationals were just detained in protests at the federal capital. She said that Interior will soon announce information regarding the arrests.
“Participating in political protests abroad is a clear violation of the law,” Baloch asserted. Among other subjects, the spokesperson categorically dismissed suggestions that the government is talking with the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

That said, discussion with the TTP is a dishonor to victims of terrorism and their families. Also, Baloch affirmatively reiterated Pakistan’s right to forge good relationships with other countries, saying ties with one did not imply ill ones with the other.
However, she refused to make comments on what Israeli leadership said concerning Iran’s nuclear program but noted that Pakistan condemned strongly the Israeli attack in Palestine. He called the international community to pay attention to what Israel has done and welcomed a ceasefire in Lebanon, declaring an unconditional ceasefire in Palestine.
