This is what happened during the visit of the Parliamentary Secretary for Commerce, Dr. Zulfiqar Ali Bhatti to the Intellectual Property Organization of Pakistan (IPO) for its headquarters today in Islamabad: His reception was that of Chairperson Farukh Amil, Director General Ms. Shazia Adnan, and other officers of the IPO.

During the visit, the Chairperson and Director General pointed up some very crucial roles of the organization as it pertains to the areas of Intellectual Property Rights such as Trademarks, Patents, Copyrights, and Geographical Indications, against the visit.
Dr. Bhatti praised the performance of this organization and acknowledged the importance of this work of the organization for the promotion of Intellectual Property Rights in Pakistan. The organization made strides towards creating a conducive environment that would create thousands of cost-effective solutions to nurture innovation and entrepreneurship for the economic growth and national development of Pakistan.
