In view of the injury Saim Ayub incurred in the second Test match of South Africa against Pakistan in Cape Town, PCB Chairman has advised him to seek immediate medical care in London. Ayub will undergo a thorough evaluation by the most reputed sports orthopedic specialists.

Currently, under the supervision of Dr. Mamrez in Pakistan, he will be assisted on this transfer by the team’s strength-and-conditioning coach, Azhar Mahmood. In his words, “We are going to provide all resources required by the player for treatment and eventually make it possible for Ayub to be fit for the Champions Trophy.”
