The Pakistani rupee (PKR) closed in the green for the second consecutive day against the US Dollar (USD) today after opening at 278 in the interbank market.
Despite staying stable throughout the day, the rupee closed at 277.86, appreciating by 10 paisas. Open market rates across multiple currency counters remained at the 277-281 level today.
On a fiscal year-to-date basis, the rupee has appreciated by 0.17 percent.
