Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif expressed deeply felt condolences and solidarity to Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and the country’s citizenry following the floods, which hit more than 30,000 people. He underscored the enduring relationship between Pakistan and Malaysia and described “brotherly countries in times like these to come forth for helping each other.”
“Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim is a close friend of Pakistan, and we will not leave our Malaysian brothers and sisters alone at the time they find themselves in difficulty,” Shehbaz said.

He was going to send Malaysia “available resources” in this calamity, which was also being faced in other parts of the world. According to the prime minister, the effects of climate change are affecting all countries in the world, and they should combine efforts and work towards the mitigation of its disastrous effects.
