He alleged that he and the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, were attacked in the federal capital and called for an inquiry into the incident.
Talking to media outside the courtroom, Omar Ayub criticized the “fake cases” against them and said that their peaceful protest had been spoiled.

He clarified that CM Gandapur assured them that they would not enter the red zone during the protest.
Replying to a question, he said there was no such advice that Bhushra Bibi required to be away from politics. He also denied the idea of governor rule in the province stating that all party decisions are done through the PTI founder.
Ayub rejected all claims about any alteration in the party’s leadership.
