The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party has put forth its demands before the meeting, which would have been a government-opposition meeting but is rescheduled now. The rescheduled time for the meeting is set at 3:30 PM. The National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq will chair this meeting.

Giving a list of demands in favor of the PTI, Asad Qaiser said that the primary demand from their side would be the liberation of all party prisoners including Imran Khan, and a judicial investigation into the May 9 and 26 incidents. All these are necessary for genuine political dialogue and breaking a political deadlock.
