Soaring in history, Regal Automobiles Industries Limited launched the Series 3, the first electric SUV locally assembled in Pakistan. The event at Regal Automobiles’ plant on Multan Road, Lahore, cast a significant milestone for Pakistan’s automobile industry toward sustainable electric mobility.
The Series 3, features a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) and a 54 kWh lithium-ion battery, ranks highly offering good mileage capabilities of up to 403 km on one charge (NEDC cycle), and delivers a power output of 156 hp, 280 Nm of torque, and accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in just 8.9 seconds, which can be supported by DC fast chargers that can charge the battery 80 percent in just 40 minutes.
The interior features of the Series 3 include adequate space for a high-end feel, a 10.25-inch touchscreen, a sophisticated infotainment selection, and some of the very best safety systems including advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) such as lane-keeping assist and collision warning, as well as a hill descent.

This was revealed in the address of Mr. Adeel Usman, Managing Director at Regal Automobiles: “The launch of the Seres 3, indeed, is a proud moment for us as well as our nation, especially because it is the first electric SUV to be locally assembled in Pakistan. It is a promise to innovation, sustainability, and a cleaner future for all, and most of all-the very first realization of the potential for leadership that the automotive industry in Pakistan has in the world today in the transformation to electric mobility.”
The launch of Series 3 conveys Regal Automobiles’ commitment to alleviating Pakistan’s fossil fuel dependence and sustainable development. Regal Automobiles intends to contribute to the public with a cheap-to-quality electric vehicle that targets green consumers and businesses. Hence, this paved the way of the industry to grow the electric vehicle market in Pakistan.
