According to the finance minister of Russia, now companies in that country can use Bitcoin and other digital assets for international payments.
Anton Siluanov, in a message to Rossiya-24, the Russian state channel, added that the Bitcoins mined in Russia can be used in the experimental process for international payments, and these have started.

Such payment systems should be developed and expanded, noted Siluanov.
Therefore, there is no restriction to buy cryptocurrencies in Russia; but one can’t pay in these cryptocurrencies within the country.
This was made lawful by the decree signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin on 8 August for the temporary usage of cryptocurrencies for international payments and Forex.
