The Ministry of Defense of Russia has claimed that it had to its credit the seizure of Vidrodzhennia village in the Donetsk region of Ukraine.
As per the ministry, Russian control was attained over the subject village as a result of operations performed by forces of the Tsentr (Center) group.

Vidrodzhennia is located south of Kurakhove city, which is an important stronghold and supply center of Ukrainian forces in this region, and it also contains a thermal power plant.
Ukraine has not yet responded to Russia’s claims, and the whole issue is difficult to be independently verify, as armed conflict is still going on.
