Russia Expands e-Visa Program to 11 New Countries

Russia expanded its e-Visa program, as it added 11 additional countries to the list of nations eligible for simplified electronic visa applications. This was apparently following the signing of Order No. 3583-r on December 5th by the Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishoustin. Citizens from Barbados, Bhutan, Eswatini, Jordan, Kenya, Papua New Guinea, Saint Lucia, Tonga, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkmenistan, and Zimbabwe will now be able to apply for e-Visas to enter Russia.

Andorra and Serbia, meanwhile, have been removed from the list of e-Visas because they have entered into new agreements with Russia on visa-free travel. These new additions will make the total number of countries that can benefit from Russian e-Visas around 64.
