At least one student and another person were shot dead while six others sustained injuries in a shooting that occurred in Abundant Life Christian School located in Madison, Wisconsin. The institution is for kindergarten to 12th-grade students. The school was cold-shouldered with such tragedy in the last week leading to the holiday break.
Madison Police Chief Shon Barnes expressed deep-sown devotion, saying, “Today is a very sad and solemn day for the nation and for Madison as well.” He mimicked savings of time and hurt for everyone.

It was confirmed he was a student as well; the shooting left a teacher and pupil lifeless. The gunman was also said to be among the deceased. Police initially counted five dead before reducing the number this evening to three, in which the shooter also fell.
President Joe Biden has been briefed on the incident, and senior White House officials are in touch with local counterparts to provide support. The US has long struggled with frequent school shootings, prompting calls for stricter gun control measures to prevent further tragedies.
