The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, congratulates Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) on getting the right to host the 2034 FIFA World Cup. “Many congratulations to my brother HRH Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for winning rights to host FIFA World Cup 2034,” said the Premier in a statement posted on X.

He called this historic accomplishment “worthy recognition of the growing influence of Saudi Arabia in sports globally and its commitment to Vision 2030.” The premier said he was looking forward to the “spectacular tournament.”
PM Shehbaz’s statement comes hours after FIFA announced Saudi Arabia as the host country for the 2034 World Cup. Earlier, this kingdom also organized the bidding for winning the rights to host the 2034 edition of the Asian Games as well as the 2027 AFC Asian Cup.
