Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif declared that increased use of technology within all health sectors, encompassing polio eradication, would be undertaken to put public health in order and bring about better results. He was addressing the national anti-polio team in Islamabad and repeated the need for more cooperative efforts as the number of polio-affected children in Pakistan continues to rise.

Sharif directed the building of an organized roster of visits to polio-affected areas during the anti-polio campaign to further enhance its effectiveness. He stressed that the security of polio workers can’t be compromised and all possible measures should be taken to ensure their safety.
That is what the Prime Minister would say: “Bill Gates, Chairman, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, wrote a letter praising the ongoing anti-polio drive in Pakistan and all the efforts without tiring of the anti-polio workers.” Sharif was pleased with the Bill Gates Foundation and all national and international partners in and supporting the health sector for their joint initiatives against polio eradication in Pakistan.
According to the Prime Minister, successful efforts have been taken towards the anti-polio campaign through local people.
