According to the Irish taoiseach (prime minister), Ireland must continue its voice for basic human rights, freedom, peace, and no more violence on Christmas.
Speaking the Christmas message, Simon Harris said of Ireland that we must continue speaking against the horrendous wars and agonies taking place throughout the world at a time when “we wish each other peace and joy.”
Citing some other issues that the Irish populace went through in 2024, he noted far much work to do concerning the housing crisis, real measures on tackling climate issues, and then health service.
