Syed Murad Ali Shah, the Chief Minister of Sindh, has ordered concerned authorities to complete the K-IV extension water project by next year, as it is meant for a steady supply of water to the city of Karachi.
It was directed during today’s meeting in Karachi where the Chief Minister chaired the meeting regarding the project.

The K-IV extension project, which cost more than seventy-one billion rupees, was revealed by the meeting to be completed with help from the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank.
Further, the Chief Minister directed that a tender be issued for the establishment of a 132 KV grid station, which would form part of the project requirements.
The K-IV extension project is one of the major initiatives that will meet the increasing water requirement in Karachi and improve the water infrastructure of the city.
