Sindh Police to Create Database for Stolen Vehicles and Offenders

The Sindh Police will draw up a database recording was stolen and missing vehicles, including offenders’ information.

As a matter of course, spokesperson Sindh Police made it known that a meeting chaired by IG Sindh was held to address other related issues on stolen, missing, and snatched vehicles while also deciding to take strict action against scrap dealers dealing dwellers with stolen goods.

This will be kept in a record through the CPLC and police, a special branch, and other organizations. This will be fed into a different application in order to be tracked precisely.

Since January 1, 912 scrap dealers have been taken down, according to DIG Special Branch.

CPLC Chief Zubair Habib said that he has observed a marked reduction in crimes compared to last year. All these were given to the effectiveness of the measures of the Sindh police.

More so, the Additional IG Karachi informed that the data on crimes as maintained by police and CPLC alike has been good and comprehensive.
