Next to extending its job seeker visa, Spain will regularize about 300,000 undocumented migrants by the year 2027, which would comprise the Immigration Law reform. This announcement by Minister of Migration Elma Saiz of Spain would seek to close the labor shortages by offering residence with work permits to almost 900 thousand migrants in the next three forthcoming years. This is because the government believes that as many employees are made citizens within Spain, so hiring/work will not only be ex-pats but international hiring will also be reduced by ne of them needing around 250,000 workers in total.
Just in time for the May 2025 debut, scheduling of the granting of residence and work permits will be effective. The future of migrants entails new opportunities, together with the most important labor market and economic stability inside Spain.
