It’s about that time again: Federal Minister of Industries and Production Rana Tanveer Hussain has ordered the Sugar Commissioner to submit a report on the sugarcane prices in the next meeting after receiving complaints from the farmers about the absence of fair prices. At the Sugar Advisory Board meeting, Rana Tanveer reiterated, “No farmer shall be exploited,” because he further underlined that a mill owner would need to pay the right value for sugarcane.
