The ambassador stressed women’s crucial role in Pakistan, focusing specifically on employment and skill development opportunities leading to career growth and income generation within the household. He pointed out that this has significance not only as an initiative for economic and social development in Pakistan but also as a contribution to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially those relating to women and how they will be positioned in society.

Both dignitaries also discussed areas in which they could collaborate, including training women in beauty salon operations for jobs to be created for rural women as a sufficiency economy philosophy, which could also be incorporated in training and apprenticeship programming. They also discussed women’s political participation and how to empower them via the e-commerce and digital platforms.
