The Sindh Culture Day was marked up on Sunday by the US Consul General Scott Urbom with officials from the US Consulate who extended warm wishes of happiness and prosperity to one another. The consulate officials then wished the Sindhi people in their native tongue:
Sindh jo sakafati deharho mubarak hojay
by going ahead to record a video in Sindhi messages as a solidarity message.
Sporting traditional Ajrak shawls and Sindhi caps, officials of the consulate expressed their admiration for the rich culture in the province.
According to Consul General Urbom on Sindh Culture Day,
We celebrate the rich heritage of a land renowned for its Sufis, poets, mystics, and saints. Sindh has long been a symbol of tolerance and inclusivity.
The US further extended sincere goodwill for peace and prosperity among the people of the province and Pakistan.
According to Urbom, the spirit of unity, inclusivity, and respect for humanity and its varied cultures and religions lives on in Sindh’s cultural manifest.
The official social media accounts of the US Consulate keep on posting good wishes with the words, “Happy Sindh Culture Day. It’s time to celebrate vibrant traditions in a land that has been a source of inspiration to generations through its poets, mystics, and saints: from timeless Sufi wisdom to the good faith in respect for cultural and religious diversity, Sindh stands as a beacon of unity.”
In asking citizens what they like most about Sindh culture, the consulate encourages the public to engage.

Celebrated annually on the first Sunday of December, Sindh Culture Day is celebrated by Sindhis all over the world as the day marks the ancient tradition of the province.
Such people come wearing Sindhi caps, and Ajrak shows their love for their culture.
Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori also greeted the people of Sindh on this day.
