Wang Yi, the foreign minister of China, said on Tuesday that Beijing and Washington can achieve “many great things” if they work together, in the speech he made earlier this week in readiness for the inauguration of president-elect Donald Trump next month. Wang also warned, however, against what he termed Washington’s “crude interference” over the matter of Taiwan.
Among other things, the two powers clashed on recent issues which include trade, technology, and human rights. Wang reiterated that the policy of China toward the US “has not changed” and pointed out how cooperation would go along with economic working groups and cross-border drug control. Again, he quipped that cooperation could make a lot of things.

Wang also issued flesh that firm stand on Taiwan, stated that China “resolutely opposed illegal suppression by the US, particularly its crude interference in China’s internal affairs.” He emphasized that a strong reaction was required to safeguard the rights and interests of China and international norms.
While China clashes with the US on issues relation on January 20, not even President Trump’s assumption to office is going to bring a respite to the already stormy relations as the President-elect proffers some more tariffs for what he believes are unfair trade practices by the Chinese. Wang hoped for the administration of Trump to make the right choices, work in the same direction, eliminate obstacles, cut interruptions, and compete for stable and healthy development of bilateral ties, as a response to such statement.
As adding on much inkling about the prognosis in the world, Wang also points to the increasingly sharpened geopolitical conflicts while made worse by the disruption of the supply chain. He asserted that Beijing would continue to be a force for peace in this worldly-on-the-move catastrophe and conflict.
